July 20th - JSSUG

Where: "Driftwood" room (2nd floor) in Building 500, Bank of America, 9000 Southside Blvd: Map and Directions
When: Wednesday, July 20th, 2008 @ 6-8 PM

Presentation Topics:

Introduction to SQL Server Analysis Services MDX
Speaker: Vikas Hawaldar

The presentation is targeted to provide a starting point for SSAS developers who are looking forward to develop more complex analytics using power of MDX.  It will cover basic concepts, definitions and syntax involved in MDX programming. Presenter will walk the attendees through developing basic and somewhat advanced analytics using MDX and implementing them into SSAS 2005.

We'll be giving away a copy of Vista and other goodies in a very "special" way to a few lucky winners.

As always JSSUG meetings are free but we ask that you please RSVP so we can order enough pizza. Please RSVP to bknight@pragmaticworks.com. We've had about 20 RSVPs so far so if you've already done so, you're good to go.

Brian Knight, Pragmatic Works

Date Correction (From jssug.com)
The date for the MDX session is actually August 20th. Sorry
